Beautiful Noise Public Relations & Marketing was founded in 2008 by Joe Richardson.

Joe began his career in Los Angeles, representing fashion and luxury clients including Tiffany & Co., Ermenegildo Zegna and Yves Saint Laurent before relocating to New York City. There he worked at DeVries Public Relations and J. Walter Thompson (where he was named a Partner), working with a diverse range of clients including Piaget, QVC, and the diamond giant, De Beers. Later he joined renowned jeweler Cartier, running brand and boutique publicity for the Eastern United States.

In 2001 he was hired by Mercedes-Benz USA to direct brand, lifestyle and regional communications. Supported by a team of six, Joe created innovative press events, bespoke editorial opportunities resulting in feature-length publicity, and hosted top-tier journalists at motor shows including Frankfurt, Geneva and Paris. He also directed communications for Mercedes-Benz Classic Center, and developed its platforms at the prestigious Concours d’Elegance events in Pebble Beach, CA, and Amelia Island, FL.

Joe then returned to Los Angeles to create his consultancy, Beautiful Noise Public Relations & Marketing. Daimler AG (parent company to Mercedes-Benz) was the first to join the firm for representation in the entertainment sector, including publicity for its product placement and marketing partnerships in television and motion pictures. In 2009, BMW Group DesignworksUSA - which is the “think tank” for MINI, BMW, Rolls Royce Motor Cars, Hewlett Packard HP, and Microsoft - selected Beautiful Noise to heighten awareness of its brand.

Beautiful Noise has worked with Ferrari North America continuously since 2010, working in unison with its communications team and driving its entertainment and celebrity relations. Additional client work includes Maserati North America and The Rodeo Drive Committee.
